Building Community Through Mexican Folklórico
ArtistiCO Dance Company is proud to invite Mexican folklórico dance organizations to participate in the inaugural Colorado Folklore Dance Festival, a new annual gathering dedicated to celebrating, strengthening, and connecting our folklórico community.
The Colorado Folklore Dance Festival was created with the belief that folklórico is more than performance—it is cultural preservation, artistic excellence, education, and community.
Our vision is to create an inclusive space where dance organizations of all sizes can share the stage, learn from one another, and build meaningful relationships that extend beyond a single weekend.
Unlike traditional festivals centered around competition, the Colorado Folklore Dance Festival is a non-competitive, curated festival experience. Our focus is collaboration over comparison, education over rankings, and community over trophies.
Whether your organization has been performing for decades or is continuing to grow, we welcome your interest in helping build this new tradition.
