Partnerships and Collaboration

Colorado Ballet Partnership

In partnership with Colorado Ballet, ArtistiCO advances a structured pathway designed to expand representation and reduce systemic barriers within classical ballet training.

This cross-institutional collaboration provides Latino youth with direct exposure to professional ballet environments, scholarship-based training opportunities, and meaningful engagement with artistic and administrative leadership.

The partnership includes:

  • Access to mainstage productions with behind-the-scenes tours and artist conversations

  • “Day of Dance” immersive experiences at Colorado Ballet’s studios, introducing students to classical technique in a welcoming, low-pressure environment

  • Ballet training sessions hosted at ArtistiCO studios to prepare students for formal auditions

  • Scholarship auditions for training at Colorado Ballet Academy

  • Roundtable discussions fostering cross-cultural artistic exchange and institutional learning

  • Spanish-language accommodations to ensure equitable family access

Through this collaboration, students gain exposure to professional rehearsal spaces, performance standards, and audition processes—creating a tangible pipeline toward advanced ballet training and increasing diversity within classical ballet institutions.

The partnership represents a shared commitment to equity in arts education and contributes to long-term workforce development within Colorado’s performing arts sector.
