Students learn various styles of dance from Mexican guest teachers, as well as how to play instruments that complement each dance style. They also study the history and culture of the specific regions in Mexico they are learning about, and even create costumes and headdresses inspired by the culture. At the end of each week, students showcase their skills through performances. The camp is designed to accommodate the needs of the community, running for the entire day to ensure accessibility. The camp serves 50 students and provides a bilingual environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun while embracing Mexican culture.
